Why You Should Buy an Oil-Based Parfum for Women

Not all perfumes are created equal.  Most perfumes on the market are alcohol-based, meaning that the base to which scenting is added is an alcohol.  Often the scent itself was extracted from its plant base using alcohol as well.  Unfortunately, there are a few problems with alcohol-based parfum for women.  One of these is the irritating nature of alcohol.  Alcohol can cause redness, dryness, and other negative effects on skin.  As such, applying perfume may actually damage your skin.

In addition, while alcohol-based perfumes do emit stronger scents initially because the alcohol evaporates the scent faster, for the same reason these perfumes do not last very long.  Within an hour or two the alcohol has dissipated the scent entirely!  Also, alcohol's drying effect on skin reduces the length of the scent because moist skin holds the smell better.

Given these problems with alcohol-based perfumes, what should you do to create your desired scent?  I recommend that you use an oil-based perfume.  The oil bases in these perfumes are moisturizing to the skin, not only making it healthier but also helping it to retain scent longer.  In addition, if the scent is not extracted using alcohol, and instead using another method such as CO2 extraction, the scent will last longer for this reason as well.  In such perfumes, the scent can last for hours.  This is especially true for parfum for women -- parfum is a perfume with a very high concentration of essential oils, and thus the scent is long-lasting and stronger than in other types of perfume such as eau de toilette.

One such oil-based parfum for women is Body Care by Emylee's Tattitude (pictured below).  It comes in a refillable glass bottle with an antique atomizer sprayer.  The product is 100% cruelty free and has a fresh floral scent that lasts for hours.  Try it today!
